Project Templates in Bidroom
Project templates are pre-configured blueprints for common construction projects. They automatically break down your project into logical phases and create grouped sub-jobs, saving you hours of planning and ensuring nothing gets overlooked.
How Templates Work
- Select a Template — Browse our library of templates covering kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, home additions, ADU construction, and more.
- Customize Parameters — Adjust the template to fit your specific project by setting your location, budget range, timeline preferences, and quality level.
- Review Generated Phases — The template creates a master project with individual sub-jobs for each construction phase such as demolition, framing, electrical, plumbing, and finishing.
- Post All at Once — With one click, post all sub-jobs simultaneously or stagger them according to the recommended construction sequence.

Benefits of Using Templates
- Accurate Budgeting — Templates include market-based cost estimates for each phase, helping you set realistic budgets.
- Proper Sequencing — Phases are ordered correctly to avoid common scheduling conflicts like installing drywall before plumbing rough-in.
- Specialized Contractors — Each sub-job targets the appropriate trade specialty, attracting qualified contractors for each phase.
- Progress Tracking — The master project view shows overall completion across all phases with a unified timeline.
Custom Templates
If our standard templates do not match your project, you can create custom templates by defining your own phases, budget allocations, and sequencing rules. Custom templates can be saved for reuse on future similar projects, making them ideal for developers and property managers handling multiple properties.
