Every AI tool in Bidroom's hub uses credits. Each tool displays its credit cost upfront, so you always know what you're spending before you use it. Credits refresh monthly based on your subscription tier.

Subscription Tiers

Free Tier

Perfect for exploring the platform. You get a limited number of credits per month to try out different AI tools and see how they fit your workflow. Great for property owners with small projects or contractors just getting started.

Starter Tier

Ideal for individual contractors or property owners with one active project. You get enough credits for regular use of the most common tools: Bid Analysis, Cost Estimator, and Message Assistant.

Pro Tier

Designed for active professionals managing multiple projects. Pro credits support heavy use of all 14 tools, including the more credit-intensive options like Progress Reports and Risk Prediction.

Enterprise Tier

For organizations managing portfolios of projects. Enterprise includes unlimited or high-volume credits, priority AI processing, and custom tool configurations.

Credit Cost by Tool

Each AI tool in the Hub displays a credit cost badge, so you can see at a glance how many credits each request costs. Generally:

• Quick analysis tools (Message Assistant, Help Chatbot) use fewer credits
• Complex generation tools (Progress Reports, Finish Schedules) use more credits
• Batch operations (scoring all bids on a job) are discounted versus individual runs

Maximizing Your Credits

• Use the "What You'll Get" preview on each tool to make sure it's the right tool before running it
• Fill out tool forms completely for better results on the first try
• Use batch operations when available (like scoring all bids at once)
• Start with the AI Help Chatbot for quick questions before using specialized tools

Upgrade Prompts

When your credits are running low, the AI Hub shows an upgrade banner with your remaining credits and options for upgrading. The banner is dismissible per session, so it won't nag you if you've already decided to wait. But if you're using AI tools regularly, upgrading typically pays for itself in time savings within the first week.
