Which estimate types and trades does Bidroom cover?
All CSI MasterFormat divisions. Conceptual (rough order of magnitude), schematic, design development, detailed bid estimates, change order pricing and quantity takeoff-only engagements. You toggle on what you do.
Do I have to use Bidroom’s AI takeoff?
No. The AI is optional — it can save time on the rough quantity pass, but you can use your existing tools (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Trimble, OST) and just upload the final estimate to Bidroom.
Are AACE or ASPE certifications required?
No. Owners and contractors can filter by AACE/ASPE certification if they want, and we’ll badge it on your profile, but it’s not required to join.
Can I take on rush jobs?
Yes — you set turnaround commitments per estimate type, and rush requests with premium pricing show up as a separate filter on your matches.
